WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The annual Taste N’ Glow Baloon Festival begins Friday, and organizers are providing some helpful information for attendees to keep traffic moving in the area of the festival.

Those attending are encouraged to use shuttle routes which will run every 30 minutes from five different locations in the Wausau area. Those include the Weston Village Hall, Stor in Door of Wausau (the former Shopko building), Granite Peak in Rib Mountain, and the Central Wisconsin Convention and Expo Center in Rothschild. Those shuttles will run from 4 PM to 10 PM Friday and 2 PM to 10 PM Saturday. There will be no pickups after 7 PM, only drop-offs.

Attendees who would rather park on-site are being asked to avoid using Stettin Drive to access the festival grounds. Instead, head west on Highway 29 to the County Road O exit then follow either County Road O or 120th Avenue to the parking lots.

The festival continues into Sunday, though no shuttles will be provided that day. For a complete list of events, click here.

Admission is $5 per person with children under 5 admitted free. Organizers will also be collecting non-perishable food items at the gate as well
